    Denver Regional 49deg and chance of snow

    Yikes, heading out tomorrow for the Rocky Mountain Regional. Trailering my 84 up there. Just checked the weather..... 49deg on Friday and a chance of snow ........ Will I get a deduct for snow tires????? Eric

      Eric, no problem with the weather up here in Denver! If your here more than 24 hours it will probably change.

      Today Tuesday it was near 80 degrees!! Even if it snows on Thursday it won't stick on the roadways.

      I am driving my '73 up for judging and hope the streets will be dry or the "Car Wash" bay is going to be pretty busy on Thursday?

      See you this weekend.

          Peter, that's what I figured. It looks better on Saturday... Thursday check in though, 43deg and showers... Looking forward to it (the Regional that is). Usually better stories erupt from adverse conditions... See you there.. Eric

                      Eric, I had two thoughts. What a nice rig, and wonder what the gas will cost for that?

                                  THanks, Well I got here yesterday afternoon. Most I paid for gas was $3.53/gal. Averaged 10Mpg. 883 miles door to door. Still cheaper then flying myself, wife and two daughters here. It was the 14 hours in the Suburban that brought the family closer together. The great part is with GPS I have an informed answer to "how many more miles?" and "are we ther yet?" Made most uphill pulls without issue, other then two where traffic kept me from building up speed before the hill.

                                      Snow update... About 20 minutes ago it started! Got the 84 off the trailer and into the parking structure just in time. Despite the weather I am looking forward to the meet.
