After adjusting the frame before putting the new top in place, The rear of the driver's window was about 1/16 of an inch different than the passanger's window with both being parallel to the top, is this acceptable? Thanks in advance.

1/16 inch is rather good tolerence for anything on an old Corvette.- Top

Re: 1967 convertible top
Phil and Bill,
Try this before you set the pads and top:
Those are wood shims top and back side of the window against the frame. Thickness is supposed to be .46" +/-.06 per AIM sheet 1ASM F5.
The adjustment is made at the hinge assembly to frame attachment in back of the seat. Set it to the shims and then score a line around the hinge assembly on the frame mount.
But I have to agree with Wayne, 1/16" is nothing, especially on a convertible top.Attached FilesJerry Fuccillo
