    Schrader valve stem extensions

The 1970-1972 JG mentions that with the P02 option that Schrader valve stem extensions were included with the P02s and describes their appearance. My imagination fails to comprehend what they look like in reality. Can someone provide photos of what they are supposed to look like? I can't seem to find anything in the catalogs or eBay and the JG doesn't show photos. Maybe the 5th edition will have more detailed photos.

    Thanks,
    Scott

Thanks, Lyndon. Do the ones in the parts houses have Schrader somewhere on them?

no, and I dont think that the OEM ones did either, just the white tips is all, so if you can find a set like that you will be good to go. you might have to go to four or five stores, because most carry the chrome tip ones. I think that a car quest parts or nappa is where I found some last but that was a few years ago, and that CRS is kicking in.

          Thanks!

now in my old JM it says that they do have SCHRADER On them. so you will have to find them to be OEM NCRS perfect.

                  Lyndon,

You made me get my glasses out to check. There is something written on the rim that surrounds the white button. Could be the lotto numbers, I can't quite make'm out.

Lyndon, it started when I was 45. Since then I've been losing my memory....that and losing my memory.

Kenneth, thanks a bunch for the photo.

Thanks, Stephen! Very distinct photos that everyone can share. I love photos where the JG doesn't have them. Not a knock against the JG. It improves with each edition and I thank the contributors.

yes, the JGs evolve and need to continue. I've purchased these on eBay, and have seen some new sets advertised as Mopar parts. They were new and in the Mopar wrapper. I'm not sure if the length was correct. This is a good junk yard item.

                            Stephen,
                            Great pictures. Wonderful close-up detail.
I need to get a new (first) digital camera, can you offer me any guidance? I'm use to an old manual SLR Nikon. Thanks!
                            Regards,
                            Alan
