    Here's Some More Engine Pics

Here a few more different views of my '67 327/300hp PG, PS, PB, AC car. Let me know what you see or don't see from an NCRS perspective. Already gotten lots of great comments. Thanks.

    Hi Kirk:

Here are a few things beyond what was discussed from your last set of photos:

    1) The nipples that connect the heater hoses to the intake and water pump should be cad or zinc plated with no orange paint. They were installed at St. Louis, but the orange paint was applied at the Flint engine plant.

    2) The bolts that retain the battery access panel should have the heads in the engine compartment and should screw into special "riveted" nuts on the tire side of the inner fender. I believe the special nuts are being reproduced, but I'm not sure about the bolts. The bolts have a small hex head and a captured washer.

    3) I can't tell from the photo, but the oil dipstick handle should be natural. There is some debate on whether the dipstick tube should be natural or painted black.
