    66 Tachometer Cable

The 66 Judging manual states, "Known original cables are crimped at the distributor end unlike current replacements which have a flared end".

Could someone explain this? I'm getting several opinions. I have seen old cables with a six point crimp at the ends. Is this the correct original configuration?

Did AC Delco manufacture the original cables?

Six point hex crimp was the original design, and yes, AC was the GM supplier for tach cables, Speedo cables etc.
