Hopefully both C2 and Jaguar sedan owners (on which it was OE) will continue to support this tire, and Terry McManmon assures me that he's getting all the owner's of 15" wheel Caprice 9C1s to continue to buy the V-rated 225/70R-15 OE police pursuit tires, right Terry? (Make it the Firestone PV41 that I like best.)

I'm not having much success Duke. Joe is right. The last 15-inch police car tire was the 1996 Caprice. The brand F product that GM abandoned the police-car market to uses 16-inch tires, and the newest entries into that market from the pentagram folks use 16-inch, and maybe 17-inch.

There are still a few Caprice police cars in service across the country, generally in smaller towns -- but it is becoming unusual enough that comments are made on the Internet sites when one is sighted.

You should see the comments about the fuel price situation on those sites. I think a lot of marginally maintained Caprices are about to hit the automotive recyclers. Better stock up on those V speed-rated 225 & 235 70 R 15s while you can.
