'71 Tank Sticker?

Hi Guys,

While I was getting the '71 ready for http://www.specialeventpro.com/cruisin.php
this week, I stuck my hand up on top of the gas tank while checking the differential and felt something.

I got my camera and this is the best image of whatever it is.

This is looking towards the back of the car, just to the passenger side of the filler neck.

I've heard this is one of the locations folks have found build sheets.

Can you look thru the fuel filler neck boot for a better sighting????

Hi Mark,
I'm in Maryland ,too.
Here's a picture of the sticker on my 71's tank. It sounds like yours is in the same relative position.

Thanx guys.

I plan to remove the tank to find a small leak later this summer. We'll see what turns up. It feels like it's only about half the size of what Alan has pictured, but the location is spot-on.

Alan, I recognize your "Regards" from the CF.

I stole 'regards' from someone who rarely posts anymore. I think it's good when people are civil and friendly on the boards.
