    C1 WCFB Carb Body Recoloring

I know I've seen recommendations for carb rebuilders here, but how about suggestons/recommendations for someone to just recolor the carb bodies for my WCFB's, preferably eastern half of the US?

    Thanks in advance.

    Rod,

I used Eastwood carb paint. It won't pass judging, but it came out pretty good. It's been a couple of years now, and it's holding up fine.

I used the Eastwood paint on an AFB and it looks ok. Probably look better on the car than off. My choke housing was originally more of a gold color so I used their gold on that, silver on the body and top. Masking off ports and threaded holes, etc is important and time consuming. It's a fair cheap refirb job, but it don't pass muster. Best to have it tumbled and plated parts replated. It costs a lot, so it depends on what you want to do with it.
