67 AM/FM Radio for sale?

Does anyone know where I can get an AM/FM radio for my '67? UPS threw mine in the trash due to their infinite "wisdom!" If at all possible, I would like to get one near my correct radio serial number of 81FSJ-2206. Thanks a ton for any info! Mark

A few suggestions/leads for your AM-FM radio search:

1. Try searching the latest issue of the DRIVELINE. The May-June 2008 issue just came out.

2. Contact Paragon Vintage at (810) 655-4641. They sell used and reconditioned original radios. Item# 7290631U. No price listed.

3. Listings from June 2008 Hemmings for reconditioned corvette radios for sale:

a) 951-845-4222 California. Sales and service for corvette radios. Since 1940.
b) 843-333-4949 South Carolina. Sales and service for corvette radios. Website at www.originalcarradios.com
c) 805-929-3910 California. Sales and service for corvette radios. 63-67 radios, $475.

4. Go to E-bay. Always a few corvette radios for sale on E-bay or in E-bay stores.

65 through 67 are basically the same radio. Model number for the AM-FM is 986281, 65 through 67. Trying to get one near your serial number might be a chore, you might just try for the same model number.

The serial on my original 67 AM-FM is 81FSJ-6257 (late June 67 car).

I hope UPS is paying the tab on this.
