I couldn't agree more! Every member across the country should know how well this event was run. If this is any indication as to the quality of the 2011 National to be held here in Michigan, the membership is in for a real treat! Patrick Hulst, Richard Dunham, Jim Williams, Howard Hoover, Tom Komendera, Mike Bailey (if I left anybody out, I apologize) did an OUTSTANDING job and should be congratulated and thanked. Even the weather held out until an hour before we left and cleared just as we wereleaving to drive home. Also a big thanks to all the folks from all over the country who made this a great and rewarding event.

Great event!! To top it off was the Milford Proving Ground tour today. Nothing beats taking your Corvette thru the gears and far exceeding the recommeded limit of 80mph on the straights , then do the come back even better. Thanks to everyone and hopefuly we can back to Milford again in 2011.

I was following Werner at the recommended speed limit of 80 in the second lane and one the test track drivers in a silver C6 convertible passed us in the left lane like we were standing still!! Of all the nerve and security didn't even admonish him!! Thanks again for your setting up for this fantastic day, even my non-car daughter was thrilled. I hope we can do it again in 2011.

I didn't realize that was it was a security C6 that was in the left lane because he passed me so fast he was just a blur. He had to be going at least 140-150. Yes, shame on him.

I agree, the meet was a fabulous success. As an aside, the vehicle collection at the wine and cheese party was really something. Never seen so many high dollar cars in one place.

I also send my congratulations to everyone involved. Amazing that a group of volunteer fellow members, could have an event of that scale and complexity run so smoothly.
Also great to meet so many people from this forum (and the other) like Joel, I second that the car collection was mind numbingly awesome.

Lou,I hope you don't mind if I put a caveat to your photo of our cars on black lake. The shiny liquid you see is not rain water, it is a special compound that a truck sprayed on a small section of the "lake" where two test corvettes put on a neat demonstration for us.

Truly an outstanding event, resulting from a Tremendous amount of hard work on the part of many of the Chapter members. The Michigan chapter and it's members should be congratulated for all of us who attended, and I feel truly sorry for those who missed it! Kudo's for the entire team!
