the event was in Italy and the car has italian license plates

I don't know the 55, but in the last three years just about every 55 I've seen is yellow and three speed or PG. Restorer's must like that color , I'm thinking there are more yellow then GM made.
I also remember 35 years ago most people said they never made a yellow and green 55.
Now watch copper 55's come out of the wood work, because mine has been in many magazines.

I saw a harvest gold car with green top and interior in Hawaii about 30 years ago. I assume it was original, as it was pretty tired back then. I remember thinking what an unusual color combo it was. It was part of an estate sale...

Back in the days when I had a 58 and paid more attention to C-1's - I know alot of people when looking at a 55 wanted nothing but Harvest Gold. That color commanded a lot more money at least in the 70's & 80's, moet likely still does in the world of 55's.

Copper color must have been ugly back then because they only sold 15 , so I have to drive a ugly color Corvette, about %99 of people don't belieave me when I tell them it's the original color.
