    1972 Column key buzzer

I'm cleaning off my desk. What I have is 100% match for the hard to find key buzzer.I took mine off the 1972 and tested the replacement. So far I have gotten 4 from ebay 8.00 to 12.00 each.
I have all the numbers to the parts and the instruction on how to install.
Also have a number to a warehouse who thinks he may have 25 pcs.But may want $50.00 each so use ebay cheaper.
So off line if anybody want this info I will sent it to them.
I will send it to 1 person only after that ask him.

The 1972-77 buzzer, GM #6262663, is still available from GM. It GM lists for about 30 bucks, each.

      Joe,
Maybe I am confused as to the buzzer compared to the switch inside the steering column.

I have the following key buzzer switches listed for the C3 steering columns:

I can't find the number for the 1969-76 standard column buzzer switch. Although I believe that it is still available.
1969-76 T&T Column buzzer switch 26022717. This switch is very rare!

1977 Standard Column 7804414 Listed on GMPartsDirect
1977 T&T Column 7811092 Not available on GMPartsDirect

I believe that the 1977 switches carried through 1982.

Yes, the buzzer and switch are different pieces. The switch is what activates the buzzer and is, of course, contained within the steering column. For 1966-71, Corvettes used an ignition switch key buzzer that was integral with the horn relay. For 1972 and later, the buzzer was separate from the horn relay.

The 1969-78 standard column switch was GM #7804414, as you described. This switch part number remained the same from its inception for 1969 right through to the present time.

The 1969-76 switch for T/T column was originally GM #7804509. That part was discontinued in December, 1971 and replaced by GM #7811093. The latter part was discontinued without supercession in August, 1993. However, I think I saw somewhere that a reproduction/replacement of this switch is now available.

The 1977-82 switch for T/T column was GM #7811092. It was discontinued in April, 1992 and replaced by the GM #26022717 that you mentioned. That switch remains available from GM.
