    1970 LS7 Location

Does anyone know what happen to the 1970 LS7 car that was built?

    Rob,

I don't know what became of the car that Paul Von Valkenburg drove back to Detroit. It sure was a great article in Sports Car Graphic magazine. If I remember correctly Terry McManmon thought that 7 of the LS7 engines were shipped from the Tonawanda engine facility to Engineering in Warren, MI. I believe he said that 5 of those engines were returned. What became of the other two I don't know.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that it was stolen from GM, and has never resurfaced. It may very well be lost to history.
