Some already have, but no "for sale units" yet. So the answer depends on whether you want to see one or buy one. If the latter there are a lot of other questions and answers to deal with -- starting with how deep are your pockets? -- or maybe how bad do you want one?

the $103K is just the starting point for negotiation on the selling price.

your brother must own the dealership. because people offering over $100K over sticker for the first one. i would ask to see the dealer allocation for a ZR-1. there were lots of dealers taking orders for the ZO-6s that they had no allocation for so people never got them

Just check ebay, they are not as hot as everyone thinks, there are several you can get for 20K over. One in houston for sure and a couple that are in Fl. One sold this PM for 50K over and one is close to selling for $22K RDR

                    Ronald,

I would get that deal in writing ASAP!
I heard from a gentleman who had one on order with money down. When the dealership contacted him about color choice last week, they advised him that the price would be between 200k and 225k. They also told him that was a special price because he was such a good customer (3 new
Z-06 cars in 3 years) and that most dealers were expecting 250k to 300k!
I haven't heard if he will still take the car ( he could ). I am glad I am not in THAT market!

These dealers must be on drugs.... GM is going to manufacture 2000 per year over the next several years. That's not exactly rare!

I wonder how many will end up with Saudi sheiks.

What determines which cars receive a "gas guzzler" tax and is it a percentage of the total price or just a set figure?

In the case of the ZR1, it is in this bracket. Fuel mileage at least 19.5MPG, but less than 20.5. Calculated guzzler tax 1700.00.

See the entire breakdown in the FAQ section of www.fueleconomy.gov

Clem is absolutely on the money here....dealer allocation for ZR1's is being developed as we speak. My friend is a GM district sales rep. High volume dealers will have allocation at the begining and will be able to add the "market value adjustment" to the window sticker. Smaller dealers will have to wait their turn.
