I have been away from the board for a while, so I don't know if the membership knows that Jim Gessner underwent some surgery had some complications but is now on the way to recovery.

We look forward to his return to his great work on the Corvette Race Car Registry which is fast becoming the place to go to help authenticate these important cars.

Also..Congratulations to Bill and Joel on getting their 1957 Air Box car Top Flighted at Seven Springs.

Special car and special people.

Chuck...it is great to be back in Chicago after being gone since I was 18. I think gas was about .32 cents a gallon when I left and now it is $4.25 gallon.

Now thats progress.

Plus I can drive over to the Bloomington show.

I did not know this, hopefully Jims recovery will be a speedy one. I sent him an email a several days ago and had not heard from him, this explains why.
