    Ignition Heat Shield Question

I have my original upper heat shield for my 1960 283 FI but am worried about the back side. It has 2 self threading screws that I don't know if they should be there or not. Does anyone know if this is exact or maybe the weld came loose and someone put them there.

If you're talking about the distributor radio supression shield, no screws.

Yeah, it's the upper shield that's stainless shield. I was afraid someone had put them there.
