Supports for Bumperette

Here's an easy question that I can't fond the answer to in either the juding manual or the latest Paragon catalog - What is the length of the supports that hold the license plate bumperette. I originally had a set that were pre-61-62 and got rid of them. The ones I have now are 22-1/4" long.

The ones on my 62 are 22 1/2" to 23" depending on how you measure them.

I believe the reproductions are about an inch longer than origionals.

i took the long ones and cut them down butt welded them and ground them and painted they fit perfect if i am not mistaken I thought there had been a short aticle in the restorer for this but could not find it in the arcives Steve

like when they said the front bumpers were the same from 53 to 57

I believe the early supports are at lease two inches longer since they set the license plate waaay out front of the grill.
