72 Headlights

I'm aware of the single year design of the 72 headlights, with the T3 at the bottom of the lenses. Its also my understanding that those have not been re-produced. However, were there any subtle differences in those headlights as to how the T3 was displayed at the bottom?

The T-3 was at the bottom near the guide logo. It was not in a triangle. The picture in the TIM&JG should be all you need to know as they can not be mistaken for other years.

Norm, I have a couple of sets of '72 headlamps. Here is a close up picture of the T-3 Logo.
