C2 66 327/300 fan blade color

What is the correct fan blade color? I have natural metal but I saw a very high dollar car the other day at a show that had them black. Is that correct? This was a full concours restoration by a reputable shop in Ohio I believe.

I bought a new Dewitt radiator & figured while I have it all apart, I would freshen up the the area.

Semi-gloss black, tending to the glossy side. Absolutely. No original blades were natural steel.

The clutch is natural. Bolts to the semi-black fan. Get the 66 judging guide!

Here is a photo taken by the original owner of "our" 67 shortly after delivery in July 1967. The fan blade was black.

Black with some amount of bug juice that won't come off.
