Carpet Replacement - Mid Year

Looking to replace the original carpet in my '65 coupe. Are there pre -fab replacements better than others? I've heard some don't fit well at all.

Also will be replacing the seat upholstery and have the same questions

I bought the carpet, carpet pad, seat covers, foam and door panels from Corvette America. The carpet is from ACC and fits very well as does the carpet pad. The carpet includes a lot of extra on the edges to allow you to trim to fit. Best advice is to leave more than you think you should and trim sparingly.

I was going to get the seat covers from Al Knoch but then he raised the prices dramatically in January - like 2x. I went with CA and I'm not disappointed. I did not install the seat covers. That's beyond my skill level. I gave it to a car upholsterer here in my town with the foam and they did the installation. They said it worked well. The end result looks great and the seats worked well for my just completed 5200 mile trip to California and back.

You'll see another recent posting about door panels in the TDB. Check it out for varying opinions. I used the Corvette America panels because I heard they had recently redone their tooling and that others reported less problems with fit. They worked well on my 66 roadster with my only complaint being the placement on the vent window "bumpout". It's a bit off center. However the rest worked well. Placement on the door pull, door knob, lock knob and main window crank were all good.
