    Survivor Car

I have a some lite surface rust on the frame? I have a Survivor type 64 Roadster. Should I clean the rust off and if so how? I want to keep the car as original as I can only cleaning with soap and water so far. I don't want rust becoming a problem down the road.

    Thanks,

    Sam

The rust you can see likely won't become a problem. It's the rust you can't see that usually creates the biggest problems. Just keep an eye on the rust you can see to make sure it doesn't get to the point of causing pitting. If it gets to that point you may need to clean it off down to bare metal. Some "Bow Tie" status will be lost at this point but you've got to do what you've got to do.
