    Post PV Headache

Has anyone else beside me experienced a terrible post PV headache? It's been over a year since but I can still remember how bad it was!

    Kevin;

Did you see a Doctor? Sounds serious. I wouldn't let the after effects go on too long.

Stu, It only lasted that day. After a good night sleep I was fine, but thanks!

The only thing that would do is give the judges the headache

Very nice to see you again my friend!

            Kevin,
Imagine how bad the headache would be if you failed. Time to start planning for the next one.

I would only worry about a headache that comes on after the PV judging

                  Hi Kevin,
I've often wondered what percentage of cars would have passed the P.V. the day the dealer delivered them? My 71 would not have passed.
                  Regards,
                  Alan

PS: I had a 64 Impala that would have failed, too. I didn't even take it the evening it was delivered. Talk about DISSAPPOINTMENT!!!

                    Hi Kevin, Again,
I wanted to post a picture of the 64, but I couldn't get it in my first post. I was 19 years old, and had worked the whole Summer at Bethlehem Steel in the tin mill. $$$. It was the most beautiful thing ( second to my wife ) I'd ever seen.

Very nice! Definately worth a hard summers work! Did you trade it for the 71? Looks like real chick magnet! Why would have failed?

It's been over 2 years, and I felt light as a feather after PV.

                          Re: Post PV Headache

I had my 93 ZR PV'ed in Denver. Blowing snowstorm, cold, and rain. Everything was going fine until I raised the hood and the hood support would not flip over to the side, I failure. Then came the lumbar support unit. Let the air out, fired up pump, but they would not inflate. I drove 1,400 miles to fail my PV over some little plastic pipes(3). It worked the day before. So I went back to So. Cal. with a major ache, "butt" not in my head. I'm ready for them now. New hood support, and 3 little plastic pipes and fittings. I will check it all out again, full pv by friends, put it on a trailer and hold my breath in Bend, Or., in September.

Failed my first one, just the lowest of the low. I could not enjoy the rest of the trip, no matter how hard I tried. And what a LONG drive home.
Passed the second, everything and everybody just seemed pleasant and wonderful. And I got a nice headache after that one, Dick!
