    69 400hp ac lines

Hi all, I am rebuilding my 69 400hp ac system and was wondering about the hoses. Does anyone know if there is someone that can replace the hoses on the old fittings. Thanks

      Dave:

I have listed three contacts that may be able to help. The first two, indicate that they can repair or duplicate OEM air conditioning hoses. The third is a guy who sells a lot of hard to find AC parts, and may have some good, used hoses available.

Also consider DR REBUILD. His catalog indicates new, replacement hoses for your car. Although not exact, they may be reasonably close to original and not cost too many judging points. They should work correctly, and that is what's most important. Call him and discuss.

          Capt. Dave,

I visited Classic Auto Air Tampa, FL last week. I gave them all my 69 sbc ac parts. He is going to rebuild my original compressor ($299.99), go thru my POA etc. I took my ac hoses & muffler with me. He is also going to make "custom hoses" and uses my ac original muffler assy in this process. (cost dual hose w/muffler $169.90). Any questions contact Curtis Clark, shop foreman 813 - 251 - 2356 www.classicautoair.com

Right now his "turn-around" time is 6 - 8 weeks. As I strolled through their new facility I was impressed by the organization, positive attitude and reflection of pride in their work. I have never seen so many old DELCO boxes in one place. They had shelves upon shelves upon shelves of these items....

          Best Regards,
