    C3 Wiper Motor

I'm about to re-install the windshield wiper motor on the '75. It appears to be the original, and was working when I laid the car up. I have the exterior cleaned to the natural finish, and wondered if I should clean out all of the old grease in the wiper transmission, and re grease it? I can't find any reference anywhere on what type of grease to use.

Clean it out or leave it alone?

    Thanks to all, (getting CLOSE!)

So, I would leave it as is...
It was working before - why should it not now and for the next couple of years? (The more as you do not know grease specs.)

Might not be the most professional advice, just my two cents.

You have it out, the gearbox interior is a very easy access and the grease could be as old as 34 years. Clean it out, regrease with white lithium.
