Check this out, this guy and car visited the National in St. Louis I believe.........http://www.1970corvetteregistry.org/1970reg15.html

I will forward the info to him!

Sorry no contact info that I can find? I thought that it was Bullshark but it appears to be the car listed below his on the registry.

    Regards, Kevin

Interesting, Kevin, and it's listed as an LT1. Go figure.
Maybe Juliet Page, who runs the 70 registry, has some contact info, although it's only listed as "spotted on ebay".

A/C listed as an option on a 70 LT-1 so that part don't add up. Maybe it was a 454 at one time.

Birthday book shows the vin as July 8 build but the stamp on the LT-1 listed in the 70 registry is July 9.

The big block is 05-02 so it is a better match in all ways.

I work with Juliet Page on the 1970 Corvette Registry. In searching for 1970 Corvettes not yet registered in the registry I spotted this "oddity" right off when the listing on eBay first came up and I checked the VIN listings in the registry. It was shown as an LT-1. ??? I contacted the eBay seller to absolutely verify that the block wasn't decked and restamped and the seller assured me it is an original block but the heads are not. I emailed Juliet in hopes of her finding contact information in her records for the 1970 Corvette "LT-1" with that VIN in the registry but so far she has not responded due to her being out of pocket on a job assignment. Both the engine and the Corvette are in the same state.
