    C1 Frames

    I have a 57 with an awfully rusty frame, does anyone know what years of C1 would be a direct replacement?? I have a lead on a 1955 but don't know if it will work with my car.

      Dave, ''57 rear cross members around VIN 2900~3000 changed from a 5 (7 total) hole to 7 (9 total) holes. Also, late '57 frames had 2 axle bumpers on each side of the rear axles. Depending on your VIN those could be the only differences with a 55 frame as I recall. 58-62 frames are same dimensions, but some of the brackets at different. Good luck, Gary....
