Hi Joe: Thanks for the name of these wheel weights. From all the replies, we all have the same thing. I agree with you, keep the batteries out of the penlight. Thanks, John

We have the same console contents with one exception. I am thinking the little card you have just above the black plastic key is a business card from the dealership. I also have a business card from the dealer that sold me the car. Consequently, I hope that little card (I can't make it out well enough to know what it really is) is from a dealer and not something I am missing.

I'm sure your car would earn the McLellan Award. Dave must have looked your car over as it was so close to his. Dave was at the National Convention and I asked him to sign my valve cover, he did and I lost 2 points for the signature. I think it was worth the point hit, what do you think? Thanks, John
      Hi John

The Dream Cruise is amazing. You get jaded from all the amazing cars everywhere. I have to focus on one car to see all the effort that went into building it...and then multiply by 40,000.

The little card is the salesman's business card. I don't have any of the inserts that Joe has.

I should have asked Dave to sign my Top Flight award, but I didn't bring it to the picnic...next year!

Bill, You are exactly correct regarding the Dream Cruise. I remember a restored Waste Management trash truck cruising down the street. The back end where all the trash compactor equipment would be was a camper. The doors on both sides were open and a table with four people sitting playing cards as it rolled down the road. The event is just amazing.

I thoguht that was a business card, thanks for clarifying that for me.

I would bet Dave McLellan will be at the National next summer in San Jose. I am sure he will sign your Top Flight should you attend.

Have a good one and thanks again, John

          John:

The trash truck was out this year too. One of many "special interest" entries in the amazing variety of crawling (I walk faster than the traffic is moving) machines. I found that if you have a manual transmission your clutch leg better be in great shape!

Bill - I'll bet that trash truck got plenty of attention again this year. My wife and I enjoyed walking a lot of the area from the Chevrolet display to the Pontiac display. We really enjoyed the shows on the side streets. One of the NCRS groups had a Corvette show near the Chevrolet display on one of the side streets and they had some great looking cars. We rode the double decker bus for a stretch and got a very different view. I drove the cruise for a little bit as well and you are correct, a 6 speed is a touch car to drive in that situation. John
