    C2 and C3 coil springs

This might be a bad question.... a friend has a pair of good coils off a 78
I wounder if those coils could be used on a 67 air car? they sure look like the progressive coil 3851110. anyone that has tried this? Thanks

Except for F-41 springs, there was never a coil spring part number that GM used for both C2 and C3 Corvettes. Might it be possible to use a 1978 coil spring on a 1967? As far as FITMENT goes, they'll work; that's for sure. As far as proper ride height and proper performance, that's another story. With respect to those parameters, it's a crap-shoot. Are you willing to "roll the dice"?
