    67 Carpet Cuts-Serious Question

I have a new front carpet set for my 67 and I want to do it right this time.
Here's a carpet cut diagram I received at an NCRS seminar in 2007:
    https://www.forums.ncrs.org/attachme...1&d=1219152070

If you look at the 67 figure, it indicates a double flap on both rears but a single flap only on the left side in the front. I assume this is the driver side, so would the passenger side be the same way or opposite hand (with the flap on the outside right)?

Got to looking at some old photos when I first replaced my original carpets in 2002. Here they are:

Looks to me from these old scanned photos that the single flap are on both fronts, but can't really tell for sure. (and my memory is getting pretty bad)

So what do you think? Just the left front, or both fronts on each seat. No question on the rears, a double flap on both.

If anyone has another diagram or photo of the correct flap setup for a 67, please post it.

    Jerry,
I have two 1967's. A coupe and convertible. One has original carpets and the other's was recently replaced. The front cutouts on both cars are hinged ( towards the middle of the seat) on both sides of the seat and the rear sections of carpet were totally cutout, removed and the two rectangle pieces of carpet were left under the seat.
I have never seen the rear sections hinged, but you know that anything is possible with these cars. I am wondering what others have on their cars.

      Hi Jerry,
Joe's description is what we typically see on original cars.
Just to clarify, both front track positions on each seat have flaps, hinged inboard / open flap outboard.
Yes, it appears that those rugs were beyond cleaning.
