Hi ---My very first post as a new member working hard to correctly prepare my newly acquired 67 Roadster for NCRS judging. ---- It's a real challenge but having lots of fun especially knowing that I'm part of a process that will preserve the integrity of a classic Corvette.
Not sure about the correct name of this component but in the back of the interior under the convertible deck adjacent to the tension spring there are 2 fabricated sheet metal vertical supports on each side. They are not very noticeable but while in the process of shampooing the back carpets I noticed that this area is in need of some T.L.C. --- They are solid but could look a little better!
My question is: what is the correct color or surface treatment of these supports, springs and mounting bolts?
Thank you very much,
Ralph
