    Shielding rear clip

Can anyone post a photo of the rear clip on the top shielding for a 66 with 327? I am in need of how that is attached.
    Thanks in advance, Tim

Check the radio option (U69) section of your copy of the AIM (at the back of the book). The clip should appear on Sheet A8 and there are two 'slot' positions for it to install in the main distributor shield. One is marked 'FI' for fuel injected cars (no longer applicable in '66) and the other slot is marked 'CARB' which is where the clip should install for your car...

Thanks Jack for the info. I missed that drawing when I was looking! Just got the clip installed. Thanks again. Tim

Tim -- another good info source is Noland's Vol 2, pages 164 and 165; shows engineering drawings of both types of clips and photos with text. This is in the 1963 section, but applies thru 1965 MY for the fuel injection clip and to 1967 for the carb clip, as Jack H mentions. According to Noland, the part # for the carb clip changed from 3838050 to 3904870 for 1967 [although I can't seee any difference in the drawing].

          Wayne,
Thanks for pointing me to those pages in Noland's book. I recall seeing that photo and was looking for it, but didn't look in the 63 section. Clip is installed and back on the car!
