    74 pb/mc gasket part number

looking for the 2 gasket part numbers (and a source if somebody knows one) for the 2 gasket/seals that go between the master cylinder and power brake booster on a 74. they go in between where they bolt together. i recently bought a new master cylinder and power brake booster for my car but cannot seem to locate these 2 parts to finish the job.

I can't tell you the part numbers right now because I've forgotten them and I'm 3,000 miles from my references. However, I can tell you that the parts are long-since GM-discontinued. I don't know of any reproduction source for them.

        Geno -

The guys who rebuild/restore boosters (like Steve Gregori and Booster Dewey) have a source for the special rubber cup-shaped seal, as they usually ship finished boosters with the seal and pushrod in place. You might check with them for one. Long Island Corvette has them for C2 boosters, so somebody makes them.

Steve Gregori's info is at www.brakeboosters.com . Google "Booster Dewey" for his info.

The GASKET was GM #730392 and was discontinued without supercession in October, 1992. The gasket RETAINER was GM #9787620 and was discontinued without supercession in February, 1993. The SEAL WITH PLATE ASSEMBLY was GM #3910048 and was discontinued without supercession about 7 years ago.

Did you have any luck finding the parts from the other sources?
