    Welcome!

As an explanantion: we already know each other from the German corvetteforum and had quite an extended communication about his joining NCRS just recently...

And you member# shows NCRS has not yet reached the 50,000th membership.......

Hope to see you in the Netherlands then.

welcome Bjorn, will you be driving your 72 daily or just for pleasure? Nice find, Corvettes like yours are a great to buy and enjoy. Did you buy it from the NCRS Driveline for sale section?

Welcome Bjorn. You will find the members who post here not only willing to help, but friendly beyond your hopes. My son lives near Bamburg, and in my several trips there, I have seen only a couple early Corvettes. Drive it often and proudly. Larry

                  Hi Bjorn,
It's great to have a new member who's interested in the 68-72 cars. (And other years too, I'm sure).
It looks like a really nice find, I'm sure you'll have a lot of good times with it.
                  Regards,
                  Alan

Welcome Bjorn. It is great to hear from a chrome bumper C3 owner in Germany. It looks like you have a great car and don't be bashful driving it. They were made to be driven in all types of weather here in the States. That being said few of them see winter weather any more but there are 3 other seasons to drive them.

                        Chrome Bumper C3's rule.

Re: Short introduction - New member

I apologize for responding to an old post, but I just finally got around to renewing my membership again and did a search for members here in Germany. Needless to say, I was excited to find not only several members in Germany as well as Europe, but many C3 bumper car fans as well!

I can assure you that the knowledge provided here is invaluable, accurate, and freely given. I do not think that I could have ever gotten my car into shape without the people of the NCRS technical discussion board.

One advantage I have found to driving an old corvette in Germany is that the Germans love their automobiles as well as appreciate the amount of effort required to get an "Oldtimer" through the T

Another advantage is that I am only working up the courage and a couple of days off of work from turning the beast loose for at least one hot lap on the Nrburgring Nordschleife. Sure I will be getting passed by minivans while I do it, but I will still be running MY Vette on THE Ring. Another of my life's great ambitions will then be complete.

Corvettes and Germany, how could it get any better?

                          Jeph

Hay welcome Bjorn, I'm new here as well. I believe we'll both learn a lot from the well educated membership here. I'm sure there is someone here who can answer every question you or I might have. Anyway Wecome !
