    Mid-Year Gauge and Clock Restoration suggestions

    Good day all. Looking for feed back regarding reliable vendor(s) to service/restore gauge cluster, clock and possibly radio in my '66. Knowing there are serveral vendors out there am looking for reliable/quality work w/o having to sell off my dog or house to pay for services...LOL. Thanks in advance for the help.

      For radio give this guy a call Elmer Hoeferlin @ 636 926 2267, I have had GREAT luck with him and you'll get to keep the dog and the house.
      For clocks I do my own, they are not that hard to take a part and clean. Use mineral spirits to lightly clean the gears and bench run for several days. That will take care of it most of the time.

          How do you take the clock apart to get to the gears? Any photos?

                  Corvette Instruments did my '55 gauges, clock, speedo and tach. All work well, look great and cost just over a grand. They were pretty bad when I sent them, complete rebuilds...
