I am trying to install Al Knoch door panels on my 1960.
On pg 219 on the bottom half of the page it shows 11 screws used to mount the door panel.
These 11 screws are comprised of 4 in the sheet metal, 4 in the carpet strip 2 in the top section and 1 just above the rear most reflector.
Can someone help me determine which of these 11 screws need the cone grommet and which need the cone washer. I read in an earlier posting that the cone washer was used just for the sheet metal area. Pg 19 of the judging guide implies only the cone washers should be used.
My AK panels were not delux abd therefore did not come with and cone grommets installed in the panels.
Also, my window cranks look original except they have black plastic knobs. Anyone know where they came from, perhaps a passenger car ?
