    A/C condenser

Does anyone have the measurements of the 67 A/C condenser vs. a 1968 A/C condenser? Also any date codes, markings, part numbers, etc. to identify a 1967 from a 1968 condenser? On page G305 of my 1967 AIM, C-60, B-1, shows a part number of 3891735 for the 1967 condenser. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Dale

Dale - Here you go on the 67 A/C condenser dimensions -

Condenser Assembly w/ Mount Brackets - 30-1/2" wide

    Mounding Brackets - 9" high
    Condenser Coils - 25" wide x 14" high x 2" thick

I could find no identifying marks.

    Hope this helps, Pete

I don't have dimensions. However, the 1968 condenser was a one-year-only piece. It was GM #3906084. It was discontinued without supercession more than 25 years ago.

The measurements of my 1968 repo condenser core is 24"w and 16"h. The tubes on each end stick out about 3/4".

I guess no 1968 A/C car has an original condenser. Dale

1969 used a different condenser. I don't know if it was the dimensionally the same as 1968, or not.

I've only seen one NOS 68 condenser listed on ebay over the last 10 years. I could kick myself for not buying it.

Thank you to all, I think we have found that the condenser on my 67 is correct. Dale
