    C-3 Seat Tracks

Can anyone tell me if the seat tracks on C-3, particularly on a 74 with standard vinyl interior were painted or natural metal?

They are painted black on a 1977. I would think they would be the same for 1974.

The 1968-71 seat adjusters were natural steel with phosphate-finished "feet". I'm not sure what finish the 72-74 adjusters used. I think it was the same as 68-71, though.

Joe has it right they are not painted black. The bottom is phosphate but many people think they are painted.

My 78 Bowtie anniversary car has them phosphate...I've looked at em a number of times and had to pull the passenger side when I replaced the heater core.

PS...along the way (by 73) the "feet" went to "rails' that secured the seat to the floorboard
