    57 Heater Blower Motor Question

I'm pretty sure that the heater blower motor in my car is not correct (although I'm not sure how to verify this). Can anyone offer guidance on how to tell what the correct motor is? Also, where could I find a correct motor to purchase if mine is wrong?

    Thanks,

    Ashley

What make your heater motor a Corvette is that it has only one brown wire coming out of it (for the HOT wire) car is the same like 55-57 but has TWO wires coming out . If you cant locate a Corvette motor just get the car motor easy to locate then Corvette and cut the second wire off . The problem is that the Corvette brown wire is hidden and the car wires come out the back side and can be seen. Hope this helps you out

      Roy,
This confirms that my motor is wrong. Mine has 4 wires coming out of the back, so I can at least know I've got to do something different.

      Thanks,

      Ashley

A heater motor is nothing special if some one changed it but as I said just find out which wire turns the motor in the correct direction and cut the others off . Your motor might have a saparate ground wire to make it work check that also. You dont often see a Corvette motor for sale and if so big $$$ you know any part called a Corvette part!

            Roy (or anyone else),

Does anyone know the part number for the correct motor? My car is a mid April car.

            Thanks,

            Ashley

Hope some one can answer that but all 55 to 62 are the same no matter what month.
