Looking at a WCFB carburetor. Configuration looks like it's for a 1958, high mounted choke. Air Horn number is 6-1354, which is correct, Main Body should be 0-208 or 0-1208 but is 0-207. Anyone know the difference and what application it is for. Could I use this on a hydralic lifter 283? Not looking for judging points, just want to make the engine compartment look correct and engine run properly. Is this for a passenger car with a 283 or maybe a 348? Thanks

Re: 1958 Carburetor
Richard,
The 0-207 main body is for the 58-59 250 HP 348. I'd figure it'd be fine for a 230 HP 283 since the HP is close, but can't say absolutely for sure. WCFB pieces have been mixed and matched for years so, if something is not optimal with them, it appears that there must not be enough difference for anyone to notice.

Re: 1958 Carburetor
Bob;
Does the WCFB 0-207 main body present with larger venturis, being as how it was for a 348? It was common on the Rochester equipped passenger cars to find larger venturis and larger throttle bores on the carbs for the 348's.
