Ideas to display Top Flight ribbon and cert

The hard work was done, a Top Flight ribbon and certificate was awarded. Now, I'm trying to come up with the best way to display them on my trophy shelf or on the wall. I'd like to hear from anyone who has come up with an interesting way to display these awards and show off the fruits of their labor. I'm looking for something creative. Perhaps, it could be a future item for the NCRS gift shop.

A great problem to have, congrats on the awards.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the display - hope you post it.

      Jm,
Very nice and simple, like you said, thank you for sharing the photo.
I hope some others send photos too.

Try going to a picture frame shop and have them make you a "shadow Box" they can make it to accomondate the ribbon and the certificate.

I had a shadow box made for awards ( 2 at a time for balance ) had it triple matted in red white & blue, also had dash plaques put in and a photo of Zora giving me the award. The set-up really looks great - have the frame made of a wood that will not warp. I had the box up for about five months in my finished basement and came down one night to see both dash plaques laying on the bottom - took it back to the shop that did the work. They were great, the frame had warped alittle and popped the plaques - the shop redid the whole thing in oak at no charge. Have it displayed now about 10 years without a problem. Good luck.

If I remember correctly 10 year's ago I paid about $300.00 to have it done - can't think of what it could be today.

I expressed the same problem to my family and, unknown to me, my son took the ribbon & certificate to a frame shop. He also had included a couple extra parts I had around. The frame is about an inch deep. Here is the finished product.
