    Correct 67 Wheel?

I have a '65 for which I needed an older repro bias ply tire to fit the spare tire tub. I happened to locate one at Carlisle that came along with a 67 wheel. I don't know much about 67 wheels and I'm trying to confirm if I have an authentic wheel. The wheel is stamped with a "B" at the valve stem. The outside center portion of the wheel has a "KH" and "GM" stamp. A circular "Kelsy Hayes" stamp appears on the inside surface of the wheel and directly under this stamp is the datecode 8 66. I've scanned some of the archives and it appears this is an authentic wheel but I just wanted some knowledgable confirmation before I try to sell it. Also, the vents pass the "quarter" test and the wheel is 15x6.

    Thanks,

    Dave Brown

Dave - It's a very early 1967 rally wheel that as far as I know came on Corvettes and Chevrolet station wagons with disc brakes. They are found on some Sept 1966 built cars and early October 1966 build cars. Pete
