    I posted trivia a while back about the C1 turn signal harness that the original's had a flat solid wire end connector and the replacement second design were split ends that can fall out of the main harness females .
    Now days you see and get the second design on e-bay or suppliers, but here is on e-bay the real original design if any one is interested.

          It should... The only difference I know was the running change sometime in '53-54 with the TS switch wires changing from cloth wrap to vinyl insulation.

              It will work on a 53 to 62 and many early Chevy's
