I've been using a driver engine for several years and getting ready to re-install 327 engine that came with 66 coupe when I purchased in 1994. Expert advice is greatly appreciated. Body info is: K07 Detroit, MI., 66 437, A-4516 (A.O. Smith body), Body build date: June 7th, 1966? Stamp pad looks good w/broach and VIN matches pad with F0520HH next to it. Have papers from Harry Mann Chevy, Calif. Block cast is: 3858174, Block cast date of: C 28 6. It came with two sets of heads. 1 is 461's & other is 462's. Dates are D 27 6 and E 02 6. Any red flags?

Re: 66 Engine specs
Sounds pretty much in line. The next edition of the '66 Judging Manual (currently being written) has a much improved section on K-19 included in it. Watch for it in the Driveline for availability.Bill Clupper #618- Top

Re: 66 Engine specs
Thanks William. In todays market, I just want to sale this car without misrepresenting "original" engine. I was told by seller it was, just want to be honest. When I purchased car, I did research, but alot has changed since (odd engine dates, replacements, etc.). Again, thank you.- Top
