Re: NCRS Member 50,000
Ironically while the member sequence number continues to rise...actual paid membership, last time I read something, was still under 16,000 and has hung there for some time.
Membership organizations break out and report numbers by
new memberships per year
renewed members per year
Year ending net membership base
I've not seen these numbers but suspect they would a core group of renewals with a rather stagnant number of adds and drops.Tom Russo

Re: NCRS Member 50,000
Jim,
It depends on what you mean by active.
I have kept my membership active all these years, but the last time I had a car judged was in 1980. Sold it and then not even owned one again until 10 years ago. Now that this one is again drivable, I do plan to attend local and near by events in the future.

Re: NCRS Member 50,000
I was trying to hold out for #50000 but couldn't wait. At least my number is easy for me to remember.
I don't inderstand this member number stuff. It does'nt provide any information about your interests or level of knowledge. Some of the guys in this forum have an unbelievable amount of knowledge, but they have a relativley high number. I was working on Corvettes and an active member of a local club (and a judge) long before NCRS existed, but my number certainly does'nt reflect any of this since I've only recently joined.
In addition, I'm sure some of these members are'nt around anymore, so thier number is effectively lost.- Top
