    C3 - 1971-Headlamp & Wiper Instruction Card

    I want to purchase the instruction card that hangs from the override switches under the steering column. I see the one in Paragon. Do they provide a good version of this product or does anyone have experience with another vendor?

          I've used one, and I think it looks pretty close to the originals I've seen.

              Are we sure that the card was still used in 71? I thought it was a 68 only item.

                  I don't believe anything like that was used in either 70 or 71. 68 had a wiper override tag. Not sure just what 69 had, if anything.

                      I came across this card in the Paragon catalog. It states the year from late 68 to early 72. I don't seen anything in the TIM&JG, but wasn't sure. If anyone can confirm, I'd appreciate it.

                          Don't know if it was included on 1970's. Do know that my 1970 was on the dealers showroom floor when I bought it. Got it home the first day checking things out and the wipers would not work when turned on. Called the dealership and the salesman told me about the wiper override switch. My 70 did not have the headlamp and wiper instruction card.

                                  My 71, # 6589, didn't have a card 'dangling' the afternoon I picked it up.
                                  M.F.Dobbins' 68-72 FACT BOOK shows a card and describes it as 68. No mention is made of use in later years.
