Question on Tail Light Drain Wicks-C2

On a 67 what is the correct placement on the tail light drain wicks? Should they extend through the lower notch in the lens?

The wicks on mine seem to be bunched up between the lense and gasket.

Any help would be appreciated.

On my 62 they are in the drain whole knotch between the lens and the gaskket.

Ron, your description sounds like the correct placment.
No, they did not protrude outside of the lense
