    Best of both paint worlds

I have been ready to paint my Pennant blue 54 for quite some time now. I want it to be judged, so laquer is the best choice. I also want to use the car and not have to watch the cracks start in a few years, so this means urethane. I have seen some posts that single stage can be applied to look like laquer and not lose any points. I live near Albany N.Y. and does anyone know of a painter that can do this that is somewhat close? Has anyone ever used laquer in the jambs and trunk and used urethane for the exterior? Will there ever be a day when NCRS accepts urethane unconditionally?

I don't think so! tho they accept most any repro part or made up Corvette if it has all the right numbers.
