    Build checklist C1

Does anyone have a good build checklist for a frame off restoration? What order are things usually done?

I know it is a good idea to have the chassis completed including the motor chassis.

I guess what I am trying to avoid is doing something then having to do it over again since I was not ready for the part. For instance, I painted the frame before I had the glass work completed. I should have waited until the glass work was completed before doing the frame.

Same goes for the rest of the parts. Are there parts I should wait on fixing if I need them for mock up or fitting? For instance, it makes sense not put the dash on after I have the windshield in place. Those the are the type of build checklist I am looking for.

Do I complete the doors before completing the windshield. When do i start wiring?

OK what I do first is all the body work and fitting doors, trunk and hood. Then remove the body , clean it all and have each piece painted separate like the body, hood trunk and doors . While thing are being painted I then pull the engine, trans and parts to be rebuilt or repaired. And while that's is being done I attack the frame .
THEN after all that I install the engine and what ever, install window hardware, body wiring ,weatherstripping, and put them back on the body //just complete the body (complete) and then put the complete body back on to the frame and connect everything.
Like I said if you have the money while other things are being done mostly the body paint and mechanical you get the frame ready
