Hi, just joined these are my toys a 95 convertible and a 68 convertible (68 is actually my dads) the 68 is a all matching car with a 427/390 l36 & 4sp with PS. The car is very original still has the 7028209 FG carb etc..no hit body 1 repaint in 05. I have the original radio ready to put back in I had redone by "roger corvette clocks" in the picture it shows some old tape player someone put in. I currently have the engine out and have it nearly ready to go back in. I'll probably have a few questions for you guys on exactly what's correct etc..This has been my most in depth project car wise and I've learned a lot. I have personally done all the work except ofcourse the parts a machine shop was needing. I refinished all the parts such as intake manifold etc..which IMO came out great.
I already have a ncrs manual for my 68 and a shop manual which has done me pretty good so far.
I'm 25 and have always wanted and been intrested in corvettes since my dad owned a few when I was little. He owned a 66 convertible sidepipe car and a white 79 with blue interior. That's what got me started on corvettes it's basically the only CAR I'm intrested in.
Right now I'm looking for a nice 65-67 convertible factory sidepipe car and perfer a bb. So, if you know where one is thats a no hit car and nice private message me about it if you would.
look forward to learning a lot with these great cars!
