    It is 1:05 AM in the morning....

    Five members are on the forum right now at 1:05 AM, Mountain Standard Time. My guess is that there are many folks exhausted and in bed as a result of the election results. My Corvette buddies generally supported McCain, but Colorado did not. The state is now as blue as my '63 silver blue SWC.

    Now the focus is on cars, winter and skiing, and awaiting next year and the results the political change will bring.

    Back to bed now and hopefully some sleep.

        I don't think I would be surprised if I was in area code 414 or 312 last night, what with all the celebration. Suppose many partied all night long.

          I beg your pardon, but when you're over 65 you have to get up at this time of the morning to take a pee, and if you can't go back to sleep, you then go read the latest threads on the Tech Forum. This will quickly make you drowsy enough to go back to bed. Guaranteed!

              Chuck;

              Tell me about it friend. I'm in the same boat. Doc says it's big but not bad so I learn to live with it (3 or 4 times a night). Can't take any other Flomax type drugs either due to conflicts with the ticker meds, I guess. So, it's where do you draw the line between quality or quantity of life?

              There are a lot of other things on the web that are fun to watch at that time, not so much Corvette related, unless you like those long flat hoods to wash and wax due to skin prints, Ha! (Ah come on! I mean from sittin and watchin the races!).

                Only once?
                The "pendulum" has been swinging to the "right", in the USA, since 1980. I suppose it's time for it to start swinging a little bit, back the other way. From a "moderate" Republican, like me, I can say that THAT'S what makes this country TRULY GREAT.

                    Maybe it's time we think about a name change from "National" to "International" , i.e. ICRS. I know it doesn't have the same ring to it, but oh well. Usually companies, airlines in particular, try not to pick a name that locks them into borders or regions, rather allows for world wide expansion, i.e. "Transworld Airlines" (defunct), "Pan American Airlines" (defunct), "Northwest Orient Airlines" (now Delta), "Eastern Airlines" (defunct). See how well that works?
